2-Day Comprehensive AR15 Armorer’s Course
Sons of Liberty’s 2-day AR15 Armorer Course is a comprehensive course on the AR15 weapon system. At the completion of this class, you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform proper assembly/ disassembly, barreling procedures, and perform routine maintenance and inspections. You will have a better understanding of the cycle of operation and how to troubleshoot component problems and keep your weapon operational. Students will also learn about gas port sizing and component specifications.
Registration and payment are handled solely via the SOLGW website unless otherwise noted in the description.

I have attended well over a dozen armorer courses in my career, this being my 3rd course on just the AR-platform. It was hands down the best armorer's course I have taken. Most courses are simply a detailed disassembly and reassembly. This course delves deep into the design, material composition, coatings, various system lengths and designs, and outlines the best practices for building and tuning an AR system. Discusses features that can be encountered across all AR manufacturers, not just SOLGW. Far more detailed and technical than other courses. Highly recommend.
You will need to bring a complete AR15 rifle assembled or in parts to the class along with the following:

- 1″ Nylon/Brass gun smithing hammer.
- 6″ flat tip screwdriver or correct Allen wrench/hex bit for pistol grip screw
- 1/16″ flat punch / Glock Disassembly Tool
- Notepad/Paper
- USB Flash Drive (to download class slides)

- Complete set of flat steel punches
1/16, 5/64, 3/32, 1/8, 5/32 - Complete set of roll pin holders (starter punches)

- Large flat tip screwdriver or variable tip screwdriver set
- Wrenches or tools specific to components being used
