Founded in 2012 by Mike Mihalski, Sons of Liberty Gun Works began in a garage in San Antonio, Texas, building rifles people could trust with their lives. Named for the original Sons of Liberty of 1765, we carry that spirit of liberty forward through our core mission: build the world’s finest fighting rifles.

We build for the people who stand in harm’s way: special operations units, SWAT teams, patrol officers, competitors, and citizens protecting their homes and families. A select-fire variant of our MK1 was selected by U.S. SOCOM for its Combat Assault Rifle program after trials in heat, cold, dust, mud, and salt.
