SOLGW Maritime Receiver Extension Kit

The Maritime Receiver Extension Kit from SOLGW incorporates a number of upgrades from MK1, standardizing them across our product line.

The Maritime Receiver Extension features an extended nose on the tube, providing additional carrier support and buffer retainer coverage.  This will help prevent the buffer retainer from ever popping free, and also better stabilizes several bolt carriers for truer carrier flight.  The tube is still Dry Film Lube coated inside (as before), but now features 10 length-of-pull positions, 4 rear drain holes (while fully supporting the action spring), and two bottom facing drain holes.  Hard coat type 3 anodized, the Maritime Receiver Extension is built to perform no matter the environment.

The SOLGW Castle Nut is a Stainless Steel, Nitride treated, Class 3 threaded castle nut with enhanced holding power for aggressive staking.  Featuring 6 staking positions (vs only 3 on Mil-Spec), the staking positions are fully recessed vs a traditional chamfer cut, for maximum material displacement.  We also extended the length of our Castle Nut, further surrounding the receiver extension with a belt of stainless steel for added strength at this critical junction on the rifle.

Our new Black painted XP Action spring takes the extra power strength springs we’ve long been known for, and delivers that added strength in passivated 17-4 stainless steel spring wire.  Our XP spring is the most corrosion resistant material available, so even after periods of neglect you can count on your rifle to go the distance.  The added spring strength is ideal for suppressed rifles, and is compatible with any A5 or rifle length receiver extension system.

Containing the A5H2 buffer from Vltor, this tried-and-true buffer pairs best with our long established gas port sizes, and is the most versatile weight in the A5 buffer lineup.

Our QD end plate remains the same tried and true end plate we’ve used for years now, allowing for aggressive staking into the castle nut and secure QD retention with the machined steel QD cup.  Nearly flush, this QD mounting point hides out of the way should you decide to mount a sling elsewhere.
