Last fall I took the armorers course and I had a reasonably complete set of various bunches he used to while working on AR-15s. Some of them were however slightly damaged from use or perhaps abuse I will say. The guys teaching the course offered some recommendations as far as Replacements such as Brands and sets. I procrastinated and made do with what I have but when I saw this set come out and it was a very specific set and the same price as other recommended ones I gave it a try and while I have not used it yet I will say it is very well designed the knurling is excellent compared to the non-existent darling on many other tools that I have. The other thing that I like to is everything seems to be designed specifically for working on an AR-15 rather than just being a general use tool. It is not cheap but took appears to be very well designed, very specific and if it holds up like other items from Sons it will be the last thing I buy.
