Sons of Liberty’s 2-day AR15 Armorer Course is a comprehensive course on the AR15 weapon system. At the completion of this class, you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform proper assembly/ disassembly, barreling procedures, perform routine maintenance and inspections.
Sons of Liberty’s 2-day AR15 Armorer Course is a comprehensive course on the AR15 weapon system. At the completion of this class, you will have the skills and knowledge necessary to perform proper assembly/ disassembly, barreling procedures, perform routine maintenance and inspections. You will have a better understanding of the cycle of operation and how to troubleshoot component problems and keep your weapon operational. Students will also learn about gas port sizing and component specifications.

I really enjoyed the course. It provided me with a lot of very good information. As a retired US Army veteran, I didn't look at things being Mil-Spec as being the best but looking at what was presented in the course, I look at Mil-Spec in a different light. The hands-on instruction was really helpful. I would really like to take an advance course if offered, I feel it would really be a good addition to the information already received.

The class was great. The material and information conveyed was presented in a professional and understandable manner. The visual aids, practical application, and discussion really drove home the information and lessons being taught. The instructors were professional and attentive to student’s questions and concerns; they took the time to explain in detail until there was understanding. I left the course with a better understanding and I learned a lot more information than I previously knew. I gained an exceptional amount of confidence when it comes to tearing down and rebuilding my AR pattern rifles, performing routine inspections for tolerances on parts, performing rebarreling procedures, etc. I am very interested in attending an Advanced SOLGW Armorer’s Course in the future to build on the knowledge and experience I have gained. My only suggestion would be to include a data sheet or slide in the PowerPoint that serves as a quick reference such as torque values and acceptable tolerances for small parts. A step-by-step for performing certain procedures would also be helpful for the average person who is not building rifles daily, only occasionally, who may need a refresher before starting their build to ensure it is done correctly and to spec. Some, if not most, of this information can be found throughout the PowerPoint, but a data sheet or slide with all the information centralized would be handy. Thank you.
